Hit longer drives, and make it through that whole 4-course golf trip, without busting your body. Below is a total body fitness regimen that hits all aspects you want to strengthen when training to elevate your golf game. A brief breakdown of the "whys" is included, as well as a video walkthrough (link below) of the full warmup circuit to help guide and provide tips. Resistance training for golfers is growing more and more popular as an essential piece if you want to seriously improve what the game demands: strength, power, stamina, endurance, coordination, control, and injury resilience. This routine helps it all, while accommodating ample opportunity in your week to hit the range or the links for a quick 18 (or 36).
Ideally perform all exercises in the prescribed order.
Routine should be done 2-3x/wk, allowing 1-3 rest days between each session for recovery (and/or other golf activity).
