Philosophy

Train smart, train hard, train with purpose. The work we do in the gym is meant to improve the life we lead outside it, from our jobs, to our relationships, to the way we respond to literally anything challenging that gets in our way. Ultimately, no one can do the work for us. We are truly the kings, queens, whatever royal denomination you choose, of our domains. This is why I encourage my clients with an accountability and confidence in their work that leads to better movement, meaningful results, and sustainable practices that they can build on and own for life.

As a resource rooted in science-based methodology, I am always staying up to date with new techniques and concepts in the field, along with demystifying misconceptions spewed out by the, unfortunately, money-first fitness industry. There is, in fact, a lot of fancy bullshit out there, and once you are able to cut through it, you realize how beautifully simple most of this work really is. "Simple". Not easy.

I take pride in upholding a high standard of integrity and passion with the work and even more so in sharing it with others. Having myself lived on the other side of healthy, I've personally been through the ups and downs of the process and have learned from square one, experiencing firsthand what quality resistance training can do for strengthening the body, improving everyday function, reversing injury, and building a healthier and happier mindset.
